Evolution of environments for active learning and collaborative meetings
The Digital Learning Platform is a research and development project managed by Duncan Peberdy on behalf of Jisc ( and the five UK universities who are making this bold investment.  Duncan has been tasked with developing a credible alternative to wall-mounted chalk and dry-erase boards for the teaching of STEM and other subjects. The impetus has been based on Duncan’s original vision for a solution that combines many existing technologies and products, to create a single, intuitive to use platform that will be both acceptable to academics, and digitally captured so that students get access to the original taught material for review and revision purposes; something that does not happen frequently where large areas of writing boards are currently used. A dedicated website for the project will be hosted in early 2015.  In the meantime, any enquiries can be made directly with Duncan using the ‘contact’ page, or you can click the button below to receive regular automatic updates.
